Woodland Meadows Sequoia

DOB: Aug. 31, 2007
Sire: West of the Moon Oryon
Dam: Woodland Meadows Marguerite
Color: Dark Fawn
Price: $5000
Stud Fee: $500
Sequoia isn't 2 yrs. old yet but he has already proven himself to be a strong male. He will hold his own with "the big boys". His sire, Snowmass Sumar Escobar, has proven to be an outstanding herdsire whose cria hold their low microns for years. His dam has retained her outstanding fleece as well. Sequoia's one year microns are 16.9.

Sequoia could well be ready to breed this year. You can expect lots of color. His dam's dam is black and there is grey in the lineage. Breed him to your excellent females and look for cria who are better than the dam.

Sequoia's show winnings include:

1st place fleece - AlpacaMania Fleece Show 2009

4th place halter-AWE 2008 Charlene Friedman. Judge commented that Sequoia was a very stylish male and was a pleasure to look at. Tough class. Top two placings were Morning Sun Alpacas boys. Really tough! In a class of 15.

4th place fleece - EVAA Marketplace Fleece Show 2008. Large tough class, again with Morning Sun entries

3rd place halter-AlpacaMania 2008
